Hebei Establishes Tourism Promotion Center in Taiwan; Explore the Great Wall with Just a Tap

To help more people in Taiwan learn about the latest tourism information in Hebei, the Hebei Provincial Tourism Administration held a tourism promotion event in Taiwan on January 30 and set up a tourism experience store and promotion center at Ding Yun Travel Group in Taipei. The promotion center displays relevant information about tourism in Hebei and features interactive touchscreen computers, allowing visitors to take a mini virtual trip to Hebei with just a tap of their fingers.

Hebei Province boasts three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, five historic cities, and diverse terrains and climates. It is home to attractions such as Shanhaiguan, the Panjiakou Great Wall, the Chengde Mountain Resort, the Zhangjiakou Grasslands, as well as traditional folk arts like acrobatics and New Year paintings. Its proximity to two major cities, Tianjin and Beijing, further enriches its tourism offerings. During this promotional visit to Taiwan, the Hebei Provincial Tourism Administration also recommended three travel routes for public reference: Cheng-Qin-Tang, North Taihang, and Hebei Canal.

Chen Yixuan, Chairwoman of Ding Yun Travel Group, stated that there are currently eight tourism experience stores and one tourism promotion center for Hebei across Taiwan. The promotion center showcases famous Hebei handicrafts, a photo wall, and tourism brochures. For those wanting to learn more about Hebei tourism, they can use the interactive touchscreens on-site to browse desired travel information and videos. Chen also noted that apart from the traditional destinations of Chengde, Beijing, and Tianjin, other areas like Zhangjiakou and Baoding each have their own unique appeal.

Lin Jia’an, Manager of Ding Yun, also mentioned that the peak travel season in Hebei is mainly from May to October each year. Currently, besides direct flights to Shijiazhuang, travelers can also visit via Beijing, Tianjin, Taiyuan, and other cities. For those wishing to learn more about Hebei, they can visit any of the Hebei tourism recommendation stores and promotion centers across Taiwan to access information and plan their trips accordingly.
