Meet the "Red Pink Beauty" at Wuling Farm before restrictions kick in without any disappointment

Currently, Wuling Farm is in the transitional period between plum and cherry blossom seasons, attracting many visitors to enjoy the flowers over the weekend. The Dongshi Forest District Office stated that Wuling Farm will implement overall visitor volume control starting from the 13th. Travelers can plan a trip before the restrictions begin to experience a mountain journey of “flower viewing, fish appreciation, and escaping the hustle and bustle.”

The Dongshi Forest District Office noted that around 50–60% of the plum blossoms in the park remain in bloom, while the cherry blossoms have reached about 20% bloom. In addition to admiring the cherry blossoms, visitors can also head to the “Wuling Suspension Bridge” near Wuling Villa, which serves as an ecological window for viewing the national treasure fish, the Formosan landlocked salmon. The stream beneath the bridge is crystal clear, complemented by lush green mountains and a deep blue sky, creating a picturesque natural scene.

Meanwhile, the Taoshan Trail within the Wuling Forest Recreation Area stretches 4 kilometers in total, with an elevation gain of approximately 400 meters from the trailhead at the control point to the Taoshan Waterfall. The trail is lined with log benches for resting, and midway there is the Songtao Pavilion for a break. Along the way, visitors can enjoy a forest bath, breathe in the phytoncides, and closely observe plants and birds, fully immersing themselves in an enlightening eco-adventure.
