Shake Shack, listed as a must-try in New York, will open in Taiwan in Q4 next year, possibly at Breeze Nan Shan. However, the opening is still nearly a year away. For those who can’t wait, besides visiting its four locations in Japan, you’ll also be able to enjoy it in Hong Kong starting from Q1 next year. It will be introduced by the Maxim’s Group, which aims to expand to 14 outlets in Hong Kong and Macau by 2027. As for the location of the Shake Shack outlet, Tim Tong, Chief Operating Officer of Maxim’s Group, said they are still looking for a site and it has not yet been decided.
Shake Shack is known as having the best burger in New York and is ranked alongside In-N-Out as serving one of the best burgers on the East and West Coasts. Its signature offerings include burgers, flavored fries, and milkshakes in various flavors. The beef used in its burgers is claimed to be 100% natural and safe Angus beef raised without antibiotics. The fries come with options for skin-on or wavy cuts, and are even more tempting when paired with cheese.
Besides Shake Shack, the Maxim’s Group has recently launched another new brand, “The Cheesecake Factory.” Since Maxim’s Group has secured the agency rights for this brand not only in Hong Kong and mainland China but also in Taiwan, Tim Tong revealed that relevant personnel have already been in talks with Taiwanese business partners regarding its introduction to Taiwan. Although Tong did not specify which company it is, according to past market reports, it is likely to be the Breeze Group, with the location set to be Breeze Nan Shan.
