No need to enter a lottery this time—Yunlong offers free 7-day Italy trip for wedding banquets

Can you really go to Italy for your honeymoon for free just by hosting a wedding banquet? No mistake—competing for Taiwan’s annual wedding banquet market worth over NT$10 million, a renowned hotel group is offering newlyweds round-trip airfare to Italy and 7 nights of free accommodation at top-tier hotels, valued at over NT$150,000.

Yunlong Tourism Group’s “The Regent Taipei,” “Hanpin Hotel Xinzhuang,” and “Yipin Hotel Xinzhuang” have launched their new “Incredible Italy Top-Tier Wedding Banquet” to capture the annual market of 140,000 couples and the huge business opportunity. Tang Yushu, head of public affairs at Yunlong Tourism Group, stated that while most wedding banquet packages usually require a lottery draw to win a honeymoon trip, this package allows couples booking lunch or dinner banquets of 25 tables or more from Monday to Wednesday (each table starting from NT$15,990+10% to NT$20,800+10%) to receive a free trip to Italy for their honeymoon.

Last year, Yunlong opened Yipin Hotel in Xinzhuang, which features a 7-meter-high, 200-meter-long 360-degree LED panoramic screen—claimed to be the largest in Asia—with 8 themed visual displays and the capacity to host up to 190 tables on a single floor. For this wedding banquet package, the hotel has partnered with China Airlines to gift 100 lucky couples with a free trip to Italy, along with stays at the group’s Hotel de la Ville Rome, Castello di San Giustino in Umbria, or Castello di Reschio in Piedmont. The spacious and grand venues and these generous gifts are all aimed squarely at capturing the wedding banquet market.
