I’ve often heard that it’s easy to encounter ghosts in Thai hotels. I don’t really believe in these supernatural things myself and think it’s best to just coexist peacefully. But after so many trips to Thailand, this time I finally had an encounter — and it was the most terrifying "ghost pulling a person" scenario from the movies. Although I was scared at the time, I also felt like my life was now complete.
That night, I finished a phone call a bit late and accidentally fell asleep on the bed while holding my phone. Half-asleep, I subconsciously felt someone breathing next to me, very close, right by my ear. I immediately woke up and looked around the room, but there was no one there. I started feeling that something was off, so I got up and turned on all the lights in the room that could be brightened, and played some music on my phone to calm my nerves before lying back down to try to sleep again.
The last time I checked the time before falling asleep was around two in the morning. I was too tired and fell asleep again. But the moment I dozed off, I felt someone touching the soles of my feet. Just as I was about to get up, my entire body was forcefully pulled toward the foot of the bed — they were pulling my feet, dragging my whole body toward the end of the bed!!
I immediately jolted upright and started swearing in every language I knew. I didn’t sleep for the rest of the night.
