BBQ restaurant expands into new market: BBQ butlers offer in-home grilling services

“Lexuan Wagyu Specialty Store,” a restaurant chain known for using premium Grade 9+ Australian wagyu beef for all its BBQ dishes, operates two locations in Taipei and Taichung. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, starting October 1, they are launching a “BBQ Butler to Your Home – Premium Wagyu BBQ Party” service. Professional BBQ butlers will personally deliver and cook on-site, bringing chilled, air-flown-in wagyu beef from four popular cuts including thick-cut BBQ sirloin steaks, a mix of seafood and meat ingredients, and desserts. The package for six people costs NT$30,000 + 10% (includes transportation and service fees for Taipei and Taichung areas), with additional charges for parties larger than six or customized services.

The “BBQ Butler to Your Home” service allows BBQ enthusiasts to enjoy top-tier ingredients and professional service without the hassle of preparation or cooking. During the Mid-Autumn holiday period, six groups have already made reservations. Zhang Weixuan, Director of Lexuan Wagyu Specialty Store, sees strong potential in high-end consumers. In addition to the Mid-Autumn period, bookings made at least two weeks in advance will be accommodated—whether at-home grilling or yacht BBQs.

In addition to the in-home BBQ butler service, from now until October 4, the store is also offering the ‘Lexuan Premium Meat Gift Box.’ It includes 600g of three premium Grade 9+ Australian wagyu cuts: New York strip, flat iron steak, and short rib, along with Binchotan charcoal, Lexuan’s exclusive secret “Lexu Sauce,” and a grill brush—all for NT$4,500.

Ingredients: 200g Enso beef tongue, 300g New York strip, 700g tomahawk steak, 300g skirt steak, 400g Iberico pork collar, 6 Penghu king prawns, 1 squid, fruit corn, 6 wagyu burgers, 6 fruit popsicles, 1 bottle sparkling wine, desserts
