Doraemon’s memory toast lets Nobita remember all exam content after eating it. While there’s no memory toast in reality, Japan has recently launched “memory gum” that claims to maintain memory, and it has become a hot topic among netizens right after its release.

The memory gum was launched in early September. According to the official website, it is mainly targeted at middle-aged and elderly people, and contains ginkgo extract ingredients that help maintain memory.

Not only is the name interesting, but the inside and outside packaging of the gum also feature memory challenges — for example, listing a series of shapes for you to remember, then asking what the shape on the far right is when you flip it over. The gum, which incorporates memory tests, has led many netizens to exclaim: “The goldfish brain is saved!”
