Meriwell Salmon Kitchen to Open in April – The First Salmon-Themed Cooking Class

In addition to operating two specialty stores in Taipei that offer borderless salmon cuisine, salmon supplier Marine Harvest Meriwell Group has also set up the “Meriwell Salmon Kitchen” in Da’an District – the first-ever salmon-themed cooking classroom in the family. Scheduled to open on April 7, it will initially launch salmon cuisine experience classes, teaching participants basic cooking skills, including one cold dish and one hot dish, at a fee of NT$1,000 per person.

Wu Hsin-chih, General Manager of the Asia-Pacific region for Marine Harvest Meriwell Group, said that although salmon is not unfamiliar to Taiwanese, cooking methods have largely remained limited to frying. Therefore, they want to establish a cooking classroom not only to promote salmon cuisine but also to help consumers learn more diverse ways to prepare salmon.

Additionally, the two specialty stores at Eslite Bookstore in Zhongxiao and Xinyi will also unveil new menu items on April 7, namely Salmon Parent-Child Brown Rice Tea Rice (set meal NT$369), Roselle Blossom Sweet Sauce Salmon Balls (set meal NT$389), and Thai Yellow Curry Fresh Bamboo Shoots & Fish Rice (set meal NT$389).
