First International Five-Star Hotel Opens in Penghu: Four Points by Sheraton Penghu to Debut in Q2

Penghu has long been a popular destination for travelers visiting outlying islands. The international five-star hotel brand Four Points by Sheraton has announced its entry into the area this year.

Four Points by Sheraton stated that it is optimistic about Penghu’s unique natural tourism resources, which consistently attract visitors, and will officially establish a presence in the region this year.The Four Points by Sheraton Penghu covers an area of nearly 2,500 ping, with a total floor space of 13,436 ping. The building has 11 floors above ground and 2 underground, and its design is themed around the “image of a lighthouse.” The exterior of the building will feature a “Night Show” light performance on the hour at night.

The Four Points by Sheraton Penghu will have a total of 331 guest rooms and suites, featuring sea-view rooms all with independent large balconies of over 2 ping. There are 308 deluxe rooms, each with an interior space of 14 ping. There are also 23 suites, named after famous local attractions in Penghu, such as Shihhu Elegance, Jibei Noble, and Chrysanthemum Island Ambassador. The suites range from 27 to 35 ping in size, with guest rooms and living areas designed as separate spaces.

In addition to two Chinese and Western restaurants, the first floor of Four Points by Sheraton Penghu also features a duty-free shopping center. The fifth floor houses Penghu’s first infinity pool, offering views of Magong Pier No. 3 fishing harbor from the sea-facing side.
