If you’re looking to enjoy nature and scenic beauty during the Qingming children’s holiday, skip the crowded tourist spots. The expansive heart-shaped flower field at Guting Riverside Park is currently in full bloom, and the flowering season lasts until mid-April, making it an easy and relaxing way to admire the blossoms.

The flower sea at Guting Riverside Park is themed “Melody of Happiness,” created using warm-colored blooms such as red, pink, yellow, orange, and magenta to convey the warmth that happiness brings. The heart-shaped flower field is formed by a mix of scarlet sage, petunias, cosmos, and Salvia farinacea, symbolizing family bonds, friendship, and love. In addition to the flower fields, striking steel structure art installations also catch the eye—large photo frames and the word “LOVE” in English add fun for visitors’ photos, while colorful installations such as a red heart-shaped archway and white Roman-column pavilions are also popular spots.

When visiting Guting Riverside Park, you can also rent a bike at the Jingfu Bike Rental Station for a cycling and flower-viewing trip.
