Time to change up your taste buds—the “Good Food City” food court in Nangang Park has officially opened!

Office workers at the Nangang Software Park and nearby residents are in for a treat—the “Good Food City” food court located in the Nangang CTBC Financial Park officially opened on the 27th. Operated by the Dacheng Catering Group, the 1,400-ping Good Food City food court houses 26 well-known restaurants, including eight restaurant-style shop-in-shops such as Herue Udon, Havana Papa, Hen Bao, and Clarke Quay Teppanyaki, along with other popular eateries like Zhongyi Pork Ribs, Lao Dong Beef Noodles, and Kai Fan Sichuan Canteen.

Tired of the same Chinese food options near the Nangang Software Park? Or struggling to find a place to eat when working overtime over the weekend? There’s a new dining choice now. The “Nangang CTBC Good Food City,” jointly created by the Dacheng Group and CTBC, has officially opened right next to the Nangang Software Park MRT station. Here you can choose from Chinese, Japanese/Korean, and international cuisines, with 26 vendors in total—among them, Herue Udon, Havana Papa, Hen Bao, and Clarke Quay Teppanyaki are making their first appearances in the area.

The Dacheng Group began operating the store area at the Tri-Service General Hospital in 1999, established the Good Food City brand in 2012, and in December of the same year, the southern catering zone of Good Food City in Terminal 2 of Taoyuan International Airport opened. In December 2012, the Beijing Parkview Green Good Food City shopping mall opened. Then in April 2015, the Good Food City shopping mall in CTBC’s Nangang headquarters financial park was launched. Dacheng Group Chairman Han Chiayu said that after the opening of Nangang CTBC Good Food City, not only will CTBC employees have convenient access to delicious meals during lunch, but local residents will also benefit, being able to enjoy good food without traveling far. CTBC Financial Holding Vice Chairman Hsueh Hsiang-chuan added that with over 8,000 employees, having Good Food City in the Nangang CTBC Financial Park has made dining extremely convenient for staff.

Shen Qilin, Assistant General Manager of the Mall Business Division at Dacheng Group’s Catering Service Group, said that the Nangang CTBC Good Food City categorizes its vendors into Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese/Korean, and international cuisine areas. Some are presented as shop-in-shops (eight in total), such as Herue Udon. The current investment has exceeded NT$100 million.

To meet the business needs of office workers, many dining areas are equipped with power outlets and USB ports, allowing professionals to work while enjoying their meals. Additionally, Nangang CTBC Good Food City caters specifically to the Nangang Software Park and financial park demographics by offering “VIP booths” and “personal business offices” within the food court. With advance reservations, diners can enjoy exclusive time in VIP booths with friends.
