I first heard about it through a friend’s online post, so I made a special trip to dine here. The interior decor is quite fun, the service staff are lively, cute, and very polite. Even if you’re dining alone, you can still enjoy the delicious flavors of tableside grilling.

Although it’s a yakiniku restaurant, they don’t skimp on drinks, and the prices are much cheaper compared to those in central Taipei. There’s even a ranking chart on the wall for reference. Wisely highly recommends their fruity-flavored “Bad Guy Beer,” which tastes amazing and pairs perfectly with yakiniku. Their sparkling wine is also great—ladies can enjoy it without getting too tipsy.

Dining here allows you to enjoy the fun of grilling yourself, and the grills are all equipped with smoke extraction, so you won’t feel much of the greasy yakiniku smell afterward. The grill mesh is changed quite quickly, and sometimes the staff will even help with the grilling. The seasoning sauces are simple, but the quality of the meat is so good that eating it as is is fantastic too!

The restaurant operates on an à la carte yakiniku basis, with an average cost of around NT$500 per person. You can choose to eat to your fill or go for a more selective meal, offering a great deal of flexibility. The ingredients used are also of very high quality—nothing is spared!

The menu categories are also quite amusing, such as “Grill It Yourself,” “Deep-Fried Worthless Guys,” “Skewered Bad Guys,” “Nice Guy Dog Zone,” “The Unloved Are the Real Third Wheels,” “Playboy Pub Iron Men,” “I Can Definitely Drink,” “Guys, Wake Up!” and “Wishing Well.” XDD

The dessert after the meal comes from the owner’s own pastry business—it’s a complimentary dessert given for leaving a Google review. It’s a rich cheesecake with a crispy cookie base, and both the original and chocolate flavors are delicious.

Fried potato cubes NT$68, baby corn NT$58, and the adorable and fun mentaiko yam NT$68 are all affordable and tasty drinking snacks. Some of them can even be grilled by the staff, allowing you to enjoy flavors beyond just yakiniku.

Also recommended are the Sichuan-style chicken NT$118, mentaiko chicken skewers NT$68, scallion chicken skewers NT$58, and beef skewers NT$58. They use quality ingredients and have delicious flavors that make you want to drink more. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

For seafood, their clam soup NT$58 and raw scallops NT$188 are also great options, giving diners who want something other than yakiniku another delicious choice—especially the hot soup, which warms both the heart and stomach!

If you’re worried about not getting full, you can also try their fluffy white rice NT$18 and mentaiko stir-fried oolong noodles NT$88. The white rice pairs wonderfully with yakiniku, and the stir-fried oolong has a smooth and tasty flavor that both men and women love.

Thick-cut pork belly NT$88 and Matsusaka pork NT$118 each offer different flavors—the former, when grilled to crispiness, pairs well with lettuce wraps, while the latter has a delicate sweet taste, making it a great option for those who aren’t big fans of beef.

Must-try options include dice-cut beef NT$228, beef short ribs NT$228, and snowflake beef NT$228—all made from U.S. Prime grade fresh beef. Each cut has its unique texture and flavor, with visible marbling. Personally, I highly recommend the dice-cut beef, which is best enjoyed at around medium-rare; when you bite into it, the juices burst in your mouth!

And if that’s still not enough, just have two or more people at your table check in, like the restaurant on Facebook, and post a review, and you’ll get a free “Good Guy Steak.” It’s the owner’s kind gesture and a great perk for gathering friends here to dine. It’s currently unclear how long this offer will last, so those who want to try it should act fast!
