Domestic hotel operators are launching a creative “Make a Dad” campaign from August 1st to August 8th. During this period, simply stay at any of their hotels and successfully conceive—if you give birth between April and May of the following year, you can apply with relevant documentation to receive a birthday gift worth over 1.2 million. Those planning to have a child soon can take this opportunity to check in, make the most of your time, and don’t even step out of the room!

Cloudland Tourism Group stated that Taiwan has one of the lowest birth rates in the world. To boost the population and counter the declining birthrate trend, Cloudland promotes this unique childbirth incentive campaign, allowing would-be parents who love to travel and celebrate holidays to enjoy sweet couple time while also earning a substantial birthday gift for their baby. From August 1st to August 8th this year, simply stay at any of the 11 hotels under Cloudland Tourism Group (Silks Club, Silks Place, Grand Silks, Royal Silks, and the CTBC Hotel system)—any room type qualifies for this opportunity.

Lucky babies who are successfully conceived and born between April and May of the following year can apply to receive a “Cloudland Baby Card.” With this card, you can enjoy a 50% discount on full-month celebration banquets (for up to 10 tables, saving approximately 80,000 NTD), 100 boxes of celebration cake or glutinous rice (worth 24,000 NTD), annual birthday accommodation gifts and dining vouchers for Cloudland Babies (for example, if the baby lives to age 70: 14,300 NTD per night at Silks Place × 70 years = 1,001,000 NTD; birthday dining vouchers up to age 70 = 1,000 NTD × 70 = 70,000 NTD).
