As autumn arrives, Taitung County has introduced the Taiwan Fun Pass “NT$160” transportation pass, “NT$299” travel package, and the Taiwan Fun Pass Taitung Travel Passport. The county is also running numerous promotional offers, giving away seasonal farm and fishery delicacies (such as kiwifruit, roselle, tuna, and custard apples) as gifts, attracting tourists to explore Taitung’s autumn beauty by mountain and sea in a low-carbon way.

The “NT$160” transportation pass includes one ticket each for the Taiwan Fun Pass “Valley & Luye Line” and the “Urban & Coastal Line.” With this pass, passengers can get on and off the bus multiple times within the same day. The transportation pass can be purchased at the sales windows of Dingdong Bus Mountain Line and Dingdong Bus Coastal Line. The “NT$299” travel package includes the “NT$160” transportation pass plus a choice of two out of four freebies: a redemption voucher for a grass sliding experience at Luye Plateau Grassland (worth NT$100), an entry voucher for Luyeh Ranch (worth NT$100), a Macapahi bicycle voucher (worth NT$100), and an entry voucher for the National Museum of Prehistory (worth NT$80). You can choose any two of the four.

In addition, to encourage more people to visit Taitung, the county has rolled out multiple promotions. From October 1 to December 31, groups of 10 or more who come to Taitung to ride bicycles can exchange a box of custard apples or equivalent local agricultural products at the Old Railway Station Travel Service Center. Guests who check in at hotels along the Valley Line (Luye, Guanshan, Chihshang) will receive a pack of high-quality valley rice. Moreover, from November 15 to December 31, guests staying at partner accommodations in hot spring areas (Green Island, Zhiben) under exclusive promotional packages can have their accommodation registered on the event website. Once successfully registered, guests will receive a gift box of oranges on the day of their stay.
