As the annual Children's Day approaches, the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung, as well as Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo and E-DA World, are offering free entry or half-price tickets to let children celebrate this special day holding hands with their parents or guardians and create wonderful memories.

The National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung will open its exhibition halls, Science Center, Botanical Garden, and the 921 Earthquake Education Park free of charge from 09:00 to 10:00 on Children's Day. After 10:00, children under 12 can still visit for free by presenting their National Health Insurance card or other valid ID. Additionally, from March 30 to April 8, the museum is hosting the special exhibition “Joyful Childhood — Qingming Festival Floral Art Design,” which uses structured and window-display techniques along with skills such as binding, transparency, gluing, weaving, and knotting to express fashionable styles and artistic design while incorporating playful elements, presenting a vibrant and colorful floral art world.

In celebration of Children's Day, Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo not only offers free admission to children under 12 from April 4 to 8 but also hosts a charity event on Children's Day called “When Animal Doctors Meet Happy Angels,” aiming to help underprivileged children explore the world and strengthen parent-child relationships. Moreover, from April 4 to 29, the zoo has partnered with Cartoon Network to launch the “Gumball and Darwin Are Here – Happy Children’s Month” campaign. Visitors who take photos with Gumball and Darwin activity cards around the zoo may have a chance to win a digital camera. For details, check the Shoushan Zoo website at zoo.kcg.gov.tw.

E-DA World in Kaohsiung is offering a half-price ticket promotion for children under 12 from April 1 to 8. Simply print your discount voucher from the official website and present it along with proof of the child’s identity when purchasing tickets to enjoy the discount.
