Millennium Trees Witness Vows: Win a Free Wedding at Alishan by Filming a Micro-Movie

In recent years, the trend of combining weddings with tourist attractions has been on the rise. Beyond overseas destinations like Guam, Alishan, a well-known domestic tourist attraction—has once again launched the “Wedding Under the Sacred Trees – A Mountain and Sea Romance” event, with thousand-year-old trees acting as witnesses to bless the newlyweds. Registration for the event is now open, with plans to select 10 couples to participate. Applicants are required to create a 3–5 minute micro-movie and submit 5 photos based on the theme “2012 Alishan Wedding Under the Sacred Trees.” The selected couples will receive prizes including a free 2-day, 1-night wedding package at Alishan and a congratulatory gift set.

The registration period for the “2012 New Impression of Alishan – Wedding Under the Sacred Trees, A Mountain and Sea Romance” runs from now until September 7, with the event scheduled for October 11–12. Participants are required to submit a creative 3–5 minute micro-movie and 5 photos themed around a wedding under the sacred trees of Alishan. The selection process consists of two stages: an initial document review followed by a work evaluation. Results will be announced on the event website and notified by phone.

Each selected couple will receive a 2-day, 1-night Alishan wedding package that includes a single’s farewell party dinner, one night’s free accommodation at Alishan Hotel, makeup and styling services, a bridal gift set, and round-trip shuttle bus transportation for up to six people, including the couple and their guests.
