Adorable animal healing exhibitions are all the rage. Next year in Taipei, besides the paper panda exhibition featuring 1,600 Yuanbao plush toys, the "Korea Jeju Teddy Bear Special Exhibition" will also be held at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park from January 18 to April 20. At that time, various teddy bear artworks collected at the Jeju Teddy Bear Museum in South Korea will come to Taiwan to delight visitors.

This exhibition in Taiwan will feature themed zones including the History of Teddy Bears, Teddy Bear Crossover Art & Sculpture, Contemporary Teddy Bear Art, and a Teddy Bear Café. The History of Teddy Bears section will share the origin of teddy bears and a heartwarming little story about teddy bears and U.S. President Roosevelt. In the Art & Sculpture zone, you can see teddy bears incorporating elements from world-famous artworks, such as Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” and Michelangelo’s “David.” The Contemporary Teddy Bear Art zone uses “trompe-l'oeil” paintings and artistic techniques like perspective and shading to create an illusion of three-dimensional artworks. As for the Teddy Bear Café, it will feature interactive installation art pieces as well as delicious food and drinks.

In addition, during this exhibition, you can also see a teddy bear specially made by Germany’s Steiff company, with only 125 pieces produced worldwide. This limited-edition teddy bear, loaned by the Jeju Teddy Bear Museum, is unique because its fur is blended with gold threads, and its eyes are inlaid with 125-carat sapphires, hence earning the name "125K Gold Teddy Bear."
