The permanent exhibition “Micro World Display Area” at the National Museum of Natural Science, which has been around for nearly 20 years, has undergone more than a year of renovation and reopens today. The new display is divided into three themes: “The Little Universe of the Sea,” which focuses on close-up observation and conservation of marine life; “Big Things Come in Small Packages,” introducing parasitic animals and microorganisms that cause diseases; and “The Largest and Smallest Flowers,” showcasing the diverse forms and functions of plants. The exhibit area also features newly added interactive zones such as the “Underwater Catwalk Interactive Game Area” and the “See the Micro Truth” microscope observation area. In addition to the new exhibits, the venue retains the highly popular Eco-Tunnel area, which has been continuously updated and allows visitors to remotely observe small aquatic and terrestrial animals. Several computer microscopes with built-in explanatory programs let visitors explore the mysteries of optical microscopes on their own, along with a “Micro Theater” and “Electron Microscope” that play videos.
