● New Year Family Tour in Taipei
The “New Year Family Tour in Taipei” route is especially recommended for families or friends who enjoy outdoor mountain adventures. It suggests taking the Maokong Gondola to enjoy a crystal-clear view of the vast green mountains and forests. Once at Maokong, relax over tea while admiring the scenic beauty of Taipei. After lunch, head up to the Taipei 101 Observatory to get a panoramic view of the city. Climb high and gaze far. In the afternoon, explore the Xinyi Shopping District — shop, catch a movie, or savor delicious food. In the evening, join the countdown concert at Taipei City Hall Square and watch the breathtaking fireworks show over Taipei 101. On the second day, visit the children’s play area at Da’an Forest Park, followed by a meal in the Yongkang Shopping Area. In the afternoon, go to Taipei’s fashion hub “Wufenpu” to shop for new clothes and embrace a fresh start for the new year. For dinner, stop by Raohe Night Market to enjoy authentic local delicacies. On the third day, soak in the hot springs of Beitou, have lunch at the Beitou Market, then take the MRT to the newly opened Taipei Children’s Amusement Park. For dinner, head to the must-visit Shilin Night Market, a favorite among international tourists in Taipei.
