Although summer vacation is already halfway over, the exciting activities are just getting started. Not only can you enjoy the Dadaocheng Fireworks at the “Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day” event in Taipei, but you can also join the “Reading Picnic Day” at Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, and head to Tainan’s “2015 Tainan Summer Music Festival” to catch concerts and watch sand sculptures. A series of fun and engaging events will make your summer fulfilling and anything but boring.

●2015 Taipei Riverside Music Festival

The “2015 Taipei Riverside Music Festival” officially kicks off on July 25. From the Music Life Festival at Songshan Xikou Wharf and the Dajia Kids' Fun Day at Dajia Riverside Park to the Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day, there will be exciting events every week starting July 25. Join us by the water to welcome the passionate summer.

The festival begins with the “Xikou Music Life Festival,” which will be held every Saturday from July 25 to August 8 from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Songshan Xikou Wharf. The event combines cultural creativity, local farmers’ markets, and street performances, making the riverside vibrant and fun throughout the summer. Then, on August 15, the annual “Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day” will take place at the Riverside Park near Gates 3 to 5 of the Tamsui River, featuring performances by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and pop singers, along with fireworks and a market, ensuring non-stop excitement by the Taipei riverside.

In addition to enjoying music by the river, you can also participate in the “Dajia Kids' Fun Day” at Dajia Riverside Park from now until August 31. The water play area offers plenty of facilities, making it a great spot for family fun during the summer break.

●2015 Summer in Kaohsiung
Kaohsiung City is hosting the “2015 Summer in Kaohsiung” event, which will take place on August 8 and 9 at the Pier-2 Art Center’s Railway Cultural Park. The event will feature a lineup of talented singers including MP Magic Power, Wei Wenxuan, Universe People, Li Jiawei, Tzu Hsuan, Chen Yanyun, and Wu Sianxian, who will deliver powerful musical performances over the two days. In addition, there will be a popular picnic activity, inviting everyone to chat and enjoy a leisurely picnic together on the afternoon of August 9, embracing a slow and relaxing lifestyle.
