1. Crash Landing on You filming locations in Jeju Island
In the first episode, Yoon Se-ri is blown by a strange wind from her parachute landing spot in North Korea, which was actually filmed at “Forest of Healing” in Jeju Island. The scene where she jumps off a tree and runs toward Ri Jeong-hyeok is truly unforgettable!

2. North Korean scenes filmed in Mongolia
The first eight episodes feature numerous North Korean settings so realistic that viewers can’t help but wonder if they were really shot in North Korea. In fact, most of these North Korean scenes were filmed or built in Mongolia. In Episode 5, when Ri Jeong-hyeok takes Yoon Se-ri to Pyongyang to take passport photos, the scenes of them riding a train across the vast grasslands and having a picnic on the plains to keep warm were all shot in Mongolia. The expansive landscapes paired with the subtle chemistry between the leads leave fans yearning for more.
