The VAUDE Paragliding Team is gearing up for the Henan Linzhou International Paragliding Invitational Tournament.

Just recently concluded, the "2013 China Nalati Paragliding Cross-Country Expedition Competition" featured over 70 elite paragliding athletes from 13 countries and regions, including China, the United States, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Nepal, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, competing fiercely. This was the highest-level and most participation-rich paragliding competition in northwestern China. In the end, Zhao Zhenjun from the VAUDE China Paragliding Team gave an outstanding performance

Paragliding is the most lightweight flying device used by humans. It is reported that there are several million paragliding enthusiasts in Europe, and hundreds of thousands in South Korea and Japan. With the development of low-altitude airspace and the economy, the sport of paragliding is also growing rapidly in China.

Paragliding competitions require team efforts, including planning the optimal flight path, as well as essential skills in predicting and controlling wind speed and direction. These skills demand extensive theoretical study and long-term practical experience. After successfully completing the “2013 China Nalati Paragliding Cross-Country Expedition Competition,” the Ward China Paragliding Team did not rest on their laurels. They are currently undergoing secret training in Hexigten Banner, Inner Mongolia, actively preparing for the upcoming “Henan Linzhou International Competition” and the “Taiwan Invitation Competition.”

They are very grateful for Ward’s support and firmly believe they can represent China in various competitions, constantly surpassing themselves, breaking new records in paragliding, and leading the development of this sport in China.
