    It is reported that this year’s 6th China Wugongshan International Outdoor Tent Festival, dubbed “Tiantianshang? 2013,” will kick off as scheduled on September 12 at the Golden Summit. Over ten thousand outdoor enthusiasts from across the country — including Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Beijing — will gather together. Under the glittering starry sky atop these rolling alpine meadows, they will perform an unparalleled and mesmerizing camping carnival.
    Themed “Civilized Outdoor, Enjoy Nature,” the event is hosted by the Wugongshan Scenic Area Management Committee of Pingxiang, co-promoted by Lingdong Shanshui Marketing Consultants, and title-sponsored by Jiangxi Tiantianshang Mineral Water Co., Ltd. It also features collaborations with several well-known brands such as Snow Beer, Wahaha Mineral Water, Lafuma, and Xinman Tents. fixtures of the event. Hikers from all over the country compete here, sparking countless moments of excitement. Not only is the competition intense, but the route is also incredibly enticing. Participants will pass through Cultural Park Square – Yingxia Pavilion – Monkey Valley – Hero Slope – Diaoma Stake – Guanyindang, traveling through clouds and mist into a heavenly grassland and earthly paradise. Walking across 100,000 acres of alpine meadows at altitudes above 1,600 meters — isn’t that just wonderful?

?Highlight Three: Fun Outdoor Sports Challenge for All Ages
    Most notably, this year’s newly added Fun Outdoor Sports Challenge is not to be missed. As an outdoor sports carnival open to the public, it welcomes
everyone — from energetic children and lively youths to men who love showcasing strength and women who enjoy graceful sports — to join in their favorite events. With a wide range of fun and entertaining activities such as Brave Obstacle Course, Best Shooter, Horse Racing, Spinning the World, Teamwork Challenge, and Relay Races, this area is sure to turn into a sea of laughter and joy.

    Among these, the Highland Tug-of-War will be held as a standalone event, featuring club teams of eight members each. Participants will sweat it out amidst the beautiful mountains and clear waters, witnessing the true essence of friendship and experiencing the power of unity through friendly competition.

    The mountaintop evening gala has always been the grand finale of the tent festival. The colorful tents scattered across the endless alpine meadows
resemble a green carpet adorned with shimmering jewels. That magical scene lingers in the dreams of many, earning Wugongshan the title of an outdoor camping paradise among hikers. This year’s gala will feature a “I Want to Perform at the Gala” initiative organized by the hikers themselves, with representative acts from clubs around the country — singing, dancing, performances, and variety shows — taking turns on stage.     The race will take place within the Wugongshan Scenic Area in Pingxiang, open to international participants, members (amateur) of cycling associations, cycling enthusiasts, and the general public.
