TSUJIRI, a century-old matcha brand from Uji, Kyoto, and Taiwan’s top matcha brand, launches limited-edition products each season, always sparking social media check-ins and earning high praise from matcha enthusiasts.

This autumn, TSUJIRI introduces three new cake creations, all made with premium matcha personally selected by the president of the main store and ground in-house. The fine matcha powder is combined with carefully chosen imported high-quality ingredients. After extensive R&D, blending traditional Japanese techniques with Western classics, this year’s most anticipated matcha desserts are finally here.

The TSUJIRI Rich Tea Roll blends freshly ground tea powder into whipped cream, paired with a light and fluffy Japanese sponge cake, highlighting the rich aroma of matcha – once you try it, you won’t be able to stop. The matcha cheesecake is handcrafted by artisans over three days, featuring deep green matcha cookies, vibrant green matcha mousse, and emerald green matcha jelly. This dreamy creation from the century-old tea shop is finally here, combining Hokkaido Tokachi cheese with a fresh, creamy flavor that complements the elegant tea taste. The Japanese-style Tiramisu cake features two special TSUJIRI matchas: the matcha “Marukura” used in the sponge cake offers a rich, smooth tea flavor, perfectly paired with the refreshing mascarpone cheese. It’s also generously sprinkled with Taiwan-exclusive matcha “Yutai,” with a pronounced tea aroma, merging Japanese craftsmanship with Italian classics for a whole new taste experience.

At the same time, to let Taiwanese experience authentic Japanese tea culture, TSUJIRI is also launching a new series of teas: Kuromame Sencha, Roasted Hojicha, and Pine Print Genmaicha. These use high-quality tea leaves from Kagoshima, quality-checked by professional Japanese tea sommeliers, with upgraded brewing methods to bring Taiwanese the rich flavors of premium tea. Additionally, a new “Light Matcha” has been added to suit Taiwanese market preferences, modifying the traditional Royal Matcha to increase volume and reduce bitterness, satisfying fans’ cravings.
