During this “Labor Day” mini-holiday, cultural and historical tourism in Xianyang was highly favored. Throughout the holiday, major historical and cultural sites in the city such as the Qianling Mausoleum, Maoling Mausoleum, Hanyangling Museum, Sanyuan Chenghuang Temple, and Bin County Giant Buddha Temple all saw an upward trend in visitor numbers. Specifically, the Qianling Mausoleum received 14,400 visitors with ticket revenue of 1.4 million yuan; the Maoling Museum welcomed 11,000 visitors and earned 156,000 yuan in ticket sales. The Bin County Giant Buddha Temple received 8,000 visitors, while the Hanyangling Museum had 5,000 visitors.

Rural tourism was exceptionally popular. Tourist spots such as Liquan Yuanjia Village, Xingping Mawei Post, and Weicheng Da Shi Tou Village were packed with visitors, parking lots were in high demand, and tourism souvenirs sold out quickly. Yuanjia Village received over 300,000 visitors, Mawei Post over 260,000, and Weicheng Da Shi Tou Village more than 10,000. Leisure tourism continued to grow. Natural attractions like Xianyang Lake, Haiquan Bay, Bin County Shilang Lake, Chengjiachuan Scenic Area, Xunyi Tangjia Folk Museum, Yongshou Loess Land, and Chunhua Zhongshan saw continuous streams of visitors. Shilang Lake in Bin County hosted over 36,000 visitors; Haiquan Bay Hot Spring World held a media event for its large-scale musical dance fantasy drama “Haiquan Love Song” before the holiday, greatly boosting the Labor Day tourism market, with an expected visitor count exceeding 8,000 over the three days. Star-rated hotels saw generally higher occupancy rates, while social hotels and budget accommodations also drew considerable attention.

Holiday events boosted tourism. In the lead-up to the “Labor Day” holiday, Xianyang City organized a number of tourism events that helped heat up the tourism market. Events such as the Second Rural Folk Culture Tourism Festival & Tenth Spring Flower Appreciation Tourism Festival, the “Liquan Four Seasons Fruit Journey” series of activities, Tao Yuanju’s thousand-mu strawberry tasting and picking, and the large-scale online promotional tour “Famous Netizens’ Beautiful Xianyang Tour” received widespread attention from tourists. Self-driving scenic tours, visits to cultural heritage sites, and fresh fruit picking became popular choices for holiday-goers.

Prior to the “Labor Day” holiday, Xianyang City issued the “Notice on Seriously Carrying Out Tourism Reception Work During the ‘Labor Day’ Mini-Holiday,” organizing member units of the City Holiday Tourism Command Center to conduct joint law enforcement inspections on the market order of major cultural and historical tourism attractions (sites) across the city. During the holiday, county and district cultural tourism departments and related units maintained 24-hour duty shifts, with no major tourism complaints reported and the tourism market remaining in good order.
