The Travelers Club, a subsidiary of the renowned British brand LONSDALE (China), has launched the “Traveler’s Dream Plan” Tibet Kora activity. The event runs from June 29 to July 6, spanning 8 days. A horse-year kora pilgrimage – a once-in-12-years opportunity – to explore the mysterious Ngari region. Let’s go!

Let’s journey to the center of the world and perform the kora.

On the vast Tibetan Plateau stand numerous sacred mountains, large and small. Along the way, you’ll often encounter pilgrims who devoutly worship these sacred sites with their hearts and souls.
Among them, Mount Kailash in Ngari, Tibet—commonly known as Snow Ling Mountain—is not particularly tall, yet it is universally revered as a sacred mountain. Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, the indigenous Bon religion of Tibet, and the ancient Jain religion all regard it as the highest sacred mountain in the world, the center of the universe, and Mount Meru.

It is said that circling the mountain once as a pilgrim can cleanse a lifetime of sins; circling it ten times can exempt one from hellish suffering across five hundred rebirths; and circling it a hundred times can lead to enlightenment and ascension in this very life.
For thousands of years, pilgrims have come in an endless stream, forming a profound and moving flow of humanity along the paths leading to the sacred mountain. The holy mountain is deeply embedded in Tibet’s religious, historical, and cultural fabric. It is a spiritual, cultural, and faith-driven mountain that connects humans with the divine and with nature.
Circling Mount Kailash in the horse year is believed to eliminate 500 years of misfortune and multiply one’s merit by twelvefold—equivalent to thirteen regular circumambulations—and is considered the most efficacious and meritorious. The Ngari sacred mountain and lake area offers a breathtaking glimpse into the region’s grandeur, making it a world-class destination for religious pilgrimage, cultural immersion, outdoor adventure, and photography.
