Surfing, originating from the ocean-surrounded Australia, is considered the progenitor of board sports. Standing on a surfboard, you’re alternately riding up the crest and sliding down the trough – an indescribable thrill that only those who’ve experienced it firsthand can truly appreciate.

This time, the X-Treme Video Extreme Sports Film Exhibition will present the surfing documentary "Peninsula." As the director and producer of Peninsula, Luca Merli describes the film: "Peninsula is a journey, a story. Filming began two years ago, and we aimed to explore the origins of surfing in Italy and reflect as comprehensively as possible the current state of the sport's development." Though those of us inland may still know little about this sport, we believe Peninsula will take us into mysterious waters and let us feel the boundless charm of surfing.

Of course, we’ll still be serving free Red Bull, beer, and freshly baked site pizza, along with great prizes from XSories. On August 7 at 19:30, come to the south end of the sunken atrium at Sanlitun SOHO, where XSories invites you to ride the waves and experience the adrenaline rush of a lifetime.

This party is hosted by extreme sports brand XSories, with heartfelt thanks to Red Bull (Austria), Core Power (Asia), Snowboard Zone, Longboard China, Let’s Magazine, CSR China Surf Media, Dragon, Skullcandy, Greenfield Outdoor, and Site Pizza for their strong support.
