From September 1 to 30, the Guangyuan Municipal Tourism Bureau is hosting a comic submission event titled “Listen to Guangyuan Stories, Play with Animated Three Kingdoms,” providing a creative showcase opportunity for talented comic enthusiasts. Creators can design Three Kingdoms characters and write storylines in the form of micro-comics based on cultural themes, vividly “telling” the historical features of Guangyuan. After online public voting, the top 12 entries will be compiled into an electronic picture book and promoted across the province and even nationwide through posters and print advertisements. Participants will also receive a mobile phone recharge card provided by the organizers.
The entry process is simple: log in to the homepage of Sina Weibo Comics, click on the “Listen to Guangyuan Stories, Play with Animated Three Kingdoms” graphic on the special topic page, enter the “Animated Three Kingdoms” section, click “Upload Work,” and complete the upload according to the rules. Your work will then be displayed at the bottom of the special topic page.

To date, comic submission events in the form of online specials are still relatively rare.
