Taiwan High Speed Rail’s total passenger volume surpassed 600 million at 19:06:51 on the evening of January 17. The high-speed rail company specially launched the “600 Million Rides, Double the Joy” celebration event to share the happiness with passengers.

The high-speed rail company has contacted three winning passengers, one of whom is the super lucky sixth-hundred-millionth passenger — Mrs. Chen, who lives in Kaohsiung. She takes the high-speed rail from Zuoying Station to Yilan every month to visit her elderly mother. On the evening of January 17, she bought a ticket with her husband at Nangang Station to go home, and unexpectedly became the lucky winner!

The winner of the 600,000,001st ride is Mr. Tsai, who uses a commuter pass. He also lives in Kaohsiung and frequently travels between Taipei and Kaohsiung for business using the high-speed rail. On January 17, he won by taking a ride from Banqiao to Zuoying.

The 599,999,999th rider is Miss Jiang, who lives in Changhua and works in Taichung. She was blessed by Lady Luck when she took the high-speed rail back home in a hurry that day. In addition, as of the activity deadline, the 599,999,998th and 600,000,002nd passengers had still not been contacted by the high-speed rail company.
