There are two ways to query National Health Insurance-contracted pharmacies:

Querying mask quantities: The National Health Insurance Administration has also set up a new system, which will be available starting February 6 to check the mask stock at each National Health Insurance-contracted pharmacy. The public is welcome to use it.

The National Health Insurance Administration stated that to ensure fair and transparent resource utilization, it has strengthened the national computer database system. Masks will be distributed to over 6,000 "National Health Insurance-contracted pharmacies" nationwide by Chunghwa Post. The public can purchase masks by presenting their own "National Health Insurance card." Each card allows the purchase of two masks, and repeat purchases within seven days are not permitted. In remote rural areas, local health centers will handle the process. For any inquiries, the public can call the epidemic prevention hotline 1922 or the National Health Insurance Administration service hotline: landline 0800-030-598 or 4128-678 (no area code required), or mobile users can dial 02-4128-678.

The Central Epidemic Command Center emphasized that domestic experts have repeatedly urged that masks should primarily be used when "seeking medical care, accompanying patients, or visiting patients; individuals with respiratory symptoms should wear masks, and those with chronic illnesses are advised to wear masks when going out." Healthy individuals and general students do not need to wear masks. The public is encouraged to reserve masks for those who truly need them, ensuring optimal use of resources.
