On the morning of the 29th during the Beijing ISPO Show, four events took place simultaneously at the Fenix booth (Booth No. B1.330), creating a lively and energetic scene.
The three sharing sessions featured renowned outdoor photographer Tie Gai talking about his kora journey, Han Zijun, a member of the first (2015) all-female Chinese Everest (South Side) expedition team, sharing her mountaineering experiences, and the principal of Peak Outdoor Sports School discussing his exploration of Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America. In addition, Fenix also officially announced the upcoming “Fenix Lights Up the Night – 2015 Shenzhen Coastal Outdoor Carnival,” scheduled for March 21–23.
As a contracted outdoor photographer for Fenix, Tie Gai carried out the “Fenix — Tie Gai’s Kora of the Eight Sacred Mountains” project over the past year. So far, he has completed kora for five of the sacred mountains. Tie Gai also shared his spiritual pilgrimage over the past year with the audience. In 2015, he will continue his journey to complete the kora of all eight sacred mountains.
Han Zijun, a contracted athlete of Fenix, also shared her personal journey—from being a corporate high-flyer at a Fortune 500 multinational company to becoming an outdoor “tough girl” and eventually entering the 8,000-meter mountaineering circle. Notably, Han Zijun will attempt a joint climb of Everest and Lhotse this April, as well as participate in the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon. As one of the few female mountaineers in China tackling 8,000-meter peaks, these endeavors are both challenging and highly anticipated.

Sun Bin, principal of Peak Outdoor Sports School, who had just returned from expeditions in South America and Antarctica, also attended and shared heartfelt stories from leading a team to summit Aconcagua, the roof of South America, between November and December last year. Sun’s rich climbing experience and engaging storytelling transported the audience, giving them a vivid sense of South America’s unique charm and the thrill of high-altitude adventures.
The much-anticipated “Fenix Lights Up the Night – 2015 Coastal Outdoor Carnival” was also officially launched at the ISPO event. Fenix President Su Huiyun explained the motivation behind the carnival—to create a platform for outdoor enthusiasts to experience authentic coastal outdoor adventures. He also detailed the event schedule, guest lineup, and registration process. Registration for the carnival is now open. You can sign up via the Fenix official website registration platform or send “Carnival” to the Fenix WeChat account.
Numerous notable guests attended the carnival event, making it a star-studded affair. The event also featured interactive sessions with guests and a prize quiz, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Many attendees said it felt like being part of a grand outdoor enthusiasts’ party!
