Mr. Moose Mixer Takes the Stage: Enjoy Sea Views & Delicious Food at the Generals' Roar Summer Music Festival

Tainan City Tourism Bureau’s “2018 Tainan Summer Music Festival—Generals' Roar” launched enthusiastically on July 28. In the evening, five music groups took turns thrilling the crowd, while in the afternoon, there were also many local Tainan food stalls and cultural creative markets to explore.

The “2018 Tainan Summer Music Festival—Generals' Roar” focused on band performances, inviting last year’s band competition champions Bad Egg King • Old Five, The Arc, southern rock band Mr. Moose Mixer, indigenous Latin rap group Boxing, and funk band Universe People. They rocked the stage from 6 PM to 9 PM at Generals' Fishing Port.

Starting at 3 PM on the day of the event, there were attractions such as Roar Tainan Food Stalls, Food Truck Fleet, and Literary Edge Market, offering a variety of ice drinks, handmade goods, and creative cuisine. Visitors who shopped on-site could exchange for a limited-edition “Rock Asparagus Glow Stick.” Checking in and liking the Tainan Summer Music Festival Facebook page also earned you a Generals' Roar tattoo sticker. The event information booth also offered limited-edition Generals' Roar HIGH fans for free pickup.

To accommodate the “Tainan Summer Music Festival,” flexible traffic controls were implemented from 12 PM to 12 AM on July 28 on South Route 25-1 (from Provincial Highway 61 to Generals' Fishing Port), Generals' Fishing Port, and the surrounding roads of Mashagou Coastal Recreation Area, depending on traffic conditions.

Visitors arriving by motorcycle or car were advised to park in designated areas around the venue. The organizers arranged flexible on-site shuttle buses to transport visitors parked farther away to the event. The public was also encouraged to use public transportation to reach Generals' Fishing Port.
