In mythology, dragons not only symbolize emperors and power in Chinese culture, but also represent good fortune and prosperity. The largest golden twin dragons in Asia are located at Fahua Temple in Nantou County.

Fahua Temple is situated in the mountainous area of Fusheng Village, Zhongliao Township, Nantou County. To its left is the coiling dragon guarding the heavens, and to its right, a bright mirror hanging high. The newly completed giant golden twin dragons stretch about 110 meters in length. Made of reinforced concrete, they are currently the largest golden twin dragons in Asia and have become one of the hottest photo spots on Instagram. They also serve as a highly festive and auspicious destination for New Year visits.

The massive twin golden dragons look majestic and spectacular whether viewed from above or below. Additionally, visitors can pay their respects inside the temple, which enshrines Shakyamuni Buddha, with Guanyin Bodhisattva on the left and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the right, making it a perfect spot to pray for blessings in the new year.
