On May 30, the "Masyou Thousands of Cars Rally to Explore Mingyue Mountain" event, organized and hosted by Masyou Technology Co., Ltd. The vibrant yet well-organized rally ignited the self-driving tourism scene in Yichun, kicking off the grand opening of the 9th Moon Culture Tourism Festival of China Yichun · Mingyue Mountain, and laying a solid foundation for Masyou’s destination marketing initiatives.
After two months of meticulous preparation, on the morning of May 30, the organizing team conducted a vehicle check and registration. At 8 a.m., a brief departure ceremony was held. Nearly a thousand car owners with "Hunan A" plates from Changsha set off one after another along a pre-planned route, traveling 210 kilometers to reach Mingyue Mountain Scenic Area in Yichun, Jiangxi.
At the certification ceremony held at Mingyue Mountain, staff from the Guinness World Records (Shanghai Edition) headquarters carefully tallied and verified the numbers, confirming that the "Thousands of Cars Rally to Explore Mingyue Mountain" event had indeed set the Guinness World Record (Shanghai Edition) for the "Largest Cross-City, Cross-Province Self-Drive Tour," and subsequently awarded an official certificate.
At the site, self-driving vehicles adorned with unified fleet insignias were parked neatly in designated zones, creating a spectacular sight. Many tourists took out their cameras and phones to capture the moment, sharing photos and videos on social media platforms like Weibo and WeChat to spread the word about the grand event. One Changsha-based car owner excitedly exclaimed, “This is just amazing—I feel so lucky to have been part of this Guinness-record-breaking self-drive tour!” In the evening, a cultural performance titled “Colorful Folklore Celebrates the Gathering” was held at Wenyuan Square in Wen Tang. The following day, participants freely hiked Mingyue Mountain to enjoy its stunning natural scenery and experience its unique selenium-rich hot springs.
The event received widespread praise from both the tourism industry and visitors. With the continuous evolution of national tourism trends, self-driving has become a mainstream choice for travelers.
