The race takes place at Nanjing Zhongshan Sports Park—a beautiful environment and fresh air, making it a runner’s dream destination. Running around the mountain while watching fireflies dance in the distance is the most beautiful view any runner could ask for.
Reach the mountain’s highest point, and enjoy an intoxicating panoramic view of Nanjing’s night skyline.

BIGGER 4: Mountain trail running—giving you a unique running experience
The race is divided into two categories: the 21km Heroes Challenge and the 14km Fluorescent Experience.
The Heroes Challenge route is 21km long, with a total elevation gain of 830m and a total descent of 831m.
The Fluorescent Experience route is 14km long, with a total elevation gain of 380m and a total descent of 381m.
BIGGER 5: Party and food—enjoy the fun of night running to the fullest
The Purple Mountain Fluorescent Run is currently the only large-scale night running event in China, featuring exciting music parties and cool beer.
