The 2015 "Shunbo Cup" Urad Off-Road Rally concluded successfully after four exciting days of racing and one rest day. A total of 240 vehicles took part, with 55 in the professional group, 152 in the production group, 23 in the UTV group, and 10 in the women’s group. Additionally, the champions of both the professional and production groups received a cash prize of 200,000 RMB (after tax), while the UTV and women’s group champions were awarded 50,000 RMB (after tax) each — such generous prize money is truly rare among domestic off-road rallies.

Thanks to the meticulous planning of the organizing committee, the race was divided into four sections: the Yinshan Mountain Road Stage, the Gobi Crossing Stage, the Agate Lake Adventure Stage, and the Desert Crossing Stage. Among these, the Agate Lake Adventure Stage is the first of its kind in China, where racers drove their vehicles directly on natural agate stones, adding a unique highlight to the event.

This year’s event is the largest, highest-level, longest-distance, most complex-terrain, and most generously funded off-road rally among civilian competitions this year, attracting numerous top-tier drivers from across the country.

After intense competition across the four stages, car No. 006 from the Shaanxi Yuanhang Garden Vehicle Team, driven by Ma Hailong with navigator Qin Xu, claimed the professional group championship. Car No. 201 from the Off-Road E-Club Bayannur Division, driven by Cui Zhan with navigator Yan Erliang, won the production group title. Car No. 519 from the Desert E-Club, driven by Liu Weiqiang with navigator Kang Zhihao, secured the UTV group victory. And car No. 381 from the Xi Yuan Team, driven by Bai Yang with navigator Zhang Hui, took the women’s group championship.

The 2015 "Shunbo Cup" Urad Off-Road Rally was hosted by the CPC Urad Rear Banner Committee and the People’s Government of Urad Rear Banner, and organized by Shunbo Auto & Motorcycle Culture Co., Ltd. This company is a cultural tourism platform integrating race operations, new car launches, test drives, driving instruction, outdoor adventures, alongside smart connectivity, content integration, film production, and the development of authentic South Mongolia ecological experiences. It also provides a full range of professional services, including accommodation, vehicle maintenance, second-hand car trading, and outdoor gear. In March 2015, the company signed a tourism investment agreement with the Urad Rear Banner People’s Government, committing 1 billion RMB to develop Urad Rear Banner into an “Off-Road Capital” for extreme outdoor sports driven by race culture.

The event base camp and race venues were constructed within just one month. The base camp featured luxury container-style hotels, uniquely designed spherical tents with a modern flair, and Mongolian yurts full of grassland charm — the construction of these facilities also highlighted the strength of Shunbo Auto & Motorcycle Culture Co., Ltd.

We would also like to thank the border police who handled safety measures and the selfless volunteers who contributed their time — their enthusiastic support was instrumental to the success of the 2015 "Shunbo Cup" Urad Off-Road Rally. The event has now concluded successfully and received widespread praise from racing teams, drivers, and off-road enthusiasts across the country. We wish the "Shunbo Cup" Urad Off-Road Rally continued growth and progress toward even higher standards of competitive excellence.
