Last updated 2026-11-08 — On December 20th, the video speech event of the Channel 5 Sports Forum titled "My Winter Olympics, Ice and Snow Covenant," organized by China Sports Media and Channel 5, co-organized by Yike Talks, and hosted by Huayi Pioneer, was successfully held in Beijing.
Metal textures, sleek lines, chrome finishes, and extreme personal customization, coupled with scorching exhaust pipes and the deafening roar of heavy motorcycles... These scenes have long symbolized the unimaginable power and freedom that tough guys pursue in chasing their dreams and individualistic lifestyles. On December 20th, the 2015 Red Bull "China's Good Riders" event once again brought together over 300 heavy motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country, including more than 100 core members of Li Yapeng's "China Good Riders Alliance" who led a group ride around Erhai Lake. Celebrities such as Yang Kun, Jiang Wu, Shang Wenjie, Nie Yuan, and Zeng Shunxiang also showed up to support, spreading unfiltered individuality and a "machine-like friendship."

The event also saw the participation of many female riders, who stood out charmingly in the male-dominated world of motorcycling. A post-90s girl from Shaanxi, who has been riding for over three years, said that she was completely hooked after seeing Gal Gadot step out of the car in "Fast & Furious 5." Riding knows no profession, age, or region—those who love motorcycles should chase their dreams and freedom. Motorcycle riding not only changed her personality but also helped her make friends all over the country. Female riders are generally bold and easygoing, bonding over their shared passion for bikes. Whenever she’s feeling down, just starting the Harley’s engine instantly makes her feel strong inside again.
In addition to the over 100 members of the Red Bull "China Good Riders Alliance," more than 200 motorcycle enthusiasts from Yunnan and across the nation also joined the event along the route. A local "Good Rider" from Yunnan has participated in all three years of the "Good Riders" events. He said that motorcycles have become a part of his life; since childhood, his dream has been to own a beautiful heavy motorcycle. He fulfilled this dream at the age of 25. This time, he brought along a vintage classic bike to share with fellow riders. Though now in his forties, his passion for motorcycles continues to grow. "Motorcycles may be machines, but over time, you realize they each have their own temperament and character, and they amplify the wildness and ruggedness deep in a man’s nature. The older you get, the more they stir the dreams and restless energy planted in you when you were young." Meanwhile, Gao Ya, a seasoned rider from a local Kunming bike shop, brought a massive team of 30 cyclists.

As an experienced motorcycle enthusiast, actor Nie Yuan is not only a skilled rally driver but also an adept motorcyclist. He is very enthusiastic about fellow Good Rider Li Yapeng’s events and personally took part in the December 20th ride. He said that Red Bull's "China Good Riders" promotes not speeding but rather a culture and lifestyle attitude. Moreover, holding this event in Dali—a place rich in cultural heritage—is very meaningful.

When discussing the original intention behind launching Red Bull's "China Good Riders" with his partners, Li Yapeng said, "The 'China Good Riders Alliance' does not divide people by the brand or type of motorcycle, nor by region. Everyone comes together because of their love for motorcycles. It advocates the riding spirit that 'as long as you want to, you can boldly go on an adventure; as long as you dare, you can go further.' And on the journey, there will always be someone who is brave, fearless, determined, willing to give their all, endure all hardships, and travel the world with you."
