On April 10 (Wednesday), as a frontal system passes and the northeast monsoon strengthens slightly, the northern and northeastern regions will become slightly cooler, with temperatures ranging around 19–27°C. The eastern half will have brief, localized showers, with temperatures between 20–28°C, and large diurnal temperature variations. The northern area will also turn partly cloudy with brief showers, so remember to carry rain gear when heading out. Other regions will be mostly cloudy to sunny.
From April 11 (Thursday) to 13 (Saturday), influenced by the northeast monsoon and the eastward movement of cloud and rain from South China, the northern and northeastern regions will be cooler, with temperatures between 19–22°C, and other areas will also be cooler in the mornings and evenings. The area north of central Taiwan and the eastern half will have brief showers, with temperatures around 21–26°C, while southern mountainous areas will have localized, scattered showers, with temperatures between 23–29°C. Other areas will be mostly cloudy.
On April 12 (Friday) and 13 (Saturday), the southern region will also experience brief, localized showers. In addition to bringing rain gear, be sure to adjust your travel plans with rainy-day contingencies or preparations in mind.
From April 7 to 10, Kinmen, Matsu, and the western half of the country may experience localized fog or low clouds affecting visibility. Pay attention to driving visibility and weather changes.
