The Place Nanjing by LOBBY, the only branded design boutique hotel in Taipei’s Nangang District under the LOBBY Hotels Group, is located next to the Nangang Software Park. With an investment of nearly NT$500 million, it embodies the brand spirit of “Fun, Fusion, Fashion,” emphasizing a deep connection with local cultural imagery. It focuses on presenting local culture, offering business travelers and leisure tourists a brand-new accommodation experience.

Guest rooms at The Place Nanjing by LOBBY come in various configurations, including king-size beds, twin beds, and suites to meet diverse traveler needs.
The interior design of The Place Nanjing by LOBBY was planned by the Dutch architectural firm Mecanoo. Drawing inspiration from Nangang’s local history, the design incorporates historically significant motifs such as harbors, red bricks, and tea leaves, showcasing different facets of Nangang across every corner of the hotel. Tea sieve lamps and terraced-patterned carpets in the hallways continue the old tea-farming charm of Nangang, guiding guests through a corridor of time.

Despite its minimalist design, guest rooms maintain a playful and vibrant character, departing from the traditional impression of business hotels.
Rooms feature light wood textures paired with modern shades of Wander Yellow and Fashion Gray, creating a lively and warm atmosphere. Mobile desks can serve as bedside tables or workstations, while perforated walls add functional space for guests. Moreover, all rooms are located on the 11th floor and above, featuring large windows with scenic views of Datun Volcano and Neihu Wuzhi Mountain, offering excellent sightlines and natural light.

The Place Nanjing by LOBBY is situated on the 10th floor, near a metro station, and officially opened on March 21.
Facilities include a gym and meeting rooms on the 10th floor, as well as a restaurant, “Soft Kitchen,” specializing in Italian-French cuisine. There is also an open exhibition space serving as a platform for exchanging local cultural assets. The Place Nanjing by LOBBY starts locally to introduce international guests to Nangang’s creative and cultural soft power, establishing a new form of design-oriented travel accommodation.
