The global fast-food giant McDonald's has just unveiled its newest corporate headquarters in Chicago, USA, named "Hamburger University." It aims to transform the headquarters from just an office space into a cultural center, school, and historical museum, where employees can grow, learn, and work in a healthy and well-designed environment.

Designed by the interior design and architecture firm Studio O+A+IA, McDonald's new headquarters in Chicago reflects the dramatic changes in office culture in recent years. The new headquarters is designed to provide a friendly environment that allows employees to work comfortably and freely within the building.

The new headquarters has nine floors, featuring high-ceilinged public spaces, cozy private booths in the corners, an outdoor terrace on the rooftop, and open-plan office areas. These spaces are designed not only to inspire employees’ creativity but also to make their communication and work more enjoyable and comfortable.

The building’s center features a multi-directional vertical circulation system that provides spacious areas for leisure and interaction. Each floor integrates classic McDonald's elements into its design, allowing the brand’s culture to be seen in every corner.

Each floor reflects the design team’s thoughtful planning. The open, stair-like public spaces allow employees to work, chat, dine, or even daydream. Abundant natural light and high-floor views let employees gaze at the beautiful Chicago cityscape.
