1.Lihli Makau Eco Park
 
Lihli Makau boasts natural landscapes that feel like a world ecological heritage site. One of its three main highlights, the Qilan Sacred Tree Grove, is the largest gathering of cypress sacred trees in Asia. The Council for Cultural Affairs has also been actively advocating for it to be listed as the only biological heritage among World Heritage Sites. The scenery here is truly magnificent. Stroll through the gaps in the forest to enjoy the sunlight filtering through, and you’ll find it’s a fantastic spot for photos all year round, with different beautiful scenes and features to admire in every season.

2.Wuyan Cape
 
Located between the two bays of Nanfang’ao and Dong’ao, there is a sea cape that juts out toward the ocean called “Wuyan Cape.” This standalone small rocky hill marks the starting point of the main ridge of the Central Mountain Range. Its unique landscape rising from the middle of the sea is hard to see from the Su-Hua Highway due to the steep cliffs along the coast. There are many ways to reach Wuyan Cape, including kayaking, taking a boat, walking, or even rock climbing. Due to the steep terrain, please pay attention to your safety when visiting.

3.Lize Lake
 
Walking through a vast forest of crimson-colored deciduous trees feels like stepping into a movie scene – the dreamy scenery is both romantic and enchanting. Located in Yilan, Lize Lake is surrounded by a beautiful row of deciduous trees that turn brilliant red in season, attracting many photographers during this time.

4.Houkengkeng Waterfall
 
Located in Yilan, Houkengkeng Waterfall got its name from an old legend that many macaques once lived here. The waterfall features fast-flowing, short streams with a significant drop and crystal-clear water. Aside from admiring the falls, you can also take a stroll along the trail for some light exercise, breathe in the phytoncides, and enjoy views of the Lanyang area.
