The wild lily is a native species unique to Taiwan, with its flowering season occurring every year from April to May. In 2018, over 80,000 wild lilies were successfully revived on Dagu Mountain in Luzhu, Taoyuan. Now, during the flowering season, the mountains are covered in breathtaking blooms, making for an incredibly beautiful sight. The Taoyuan City government even specially organized the “2019 Dagu Mountain Wild Lily Flower Festival,” inviting everyone to come and admire the flowers and take part in farming and leisure activities.

In addition to the vast sea of wild lilies to admire, the “2019 Dagu Mountain Wild Lily Flower Festival” also offers a variety of activities such as experiencing rural life, DIY crafts, tree climbing, special events, and hiking to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dagu Mountain. Participants of all ages can join in and have a great time.

The revival of wild lilies on Dagu Mountain has been highly successful, extending fromA10Taoyuan Metro’s Shanbi Station all the way to Dagu Mountain’s Fushan Temple, the Shanbi painted slope, Waisha Bridgehead, and Kengkou Painted Village, where you can admire the wild lilies swaying in the wind — a truly delightful sight.
