The sensational Japan-exclusive 【Smell Exhibition Ultra】 has attracted over 200,000 visitors since its nationwide tour across seven major Japanese cities starting in 2016, all drawn specifically by the promise of an olfactory adventure. For its first overseas exhibition, the first stop is set in Taiwan!

This exhibition brings together fifty types of scents from around the world, including fragrances, odors, food smells, and even body odors. The displayed items are wildly diverse, featuring famously pungent “Surströmming (fermented Swedish herring),” unique male body odor like “old person smell,” and “stinky feet,” among a host of other nose-challenging items.

In addition, there are precious spices such as “musk” and “amber,” and using sound, light, and visual effects, the profound world of scents is presented in a lively and fun way. Japan’s 【Smell Exhibition Ultra】, making its first special exhibition appearance in Taiwan, calls on fellow scent enthusiasts and those who love the strong stuff to experience this ultra-popular, bizarre exhibition with their noses!

Besides preparing “ultimate scents” for exhibition-goers, the event also features a “Scent Identifier” where you can test your own smell, plus a thoughtfully prepared “Rest and Recovery Zone” to help tired noses recover from scent overload.

Additionally, in celebration of its first special exhibition in Taiwan, the display includes newly created “Most Stinky Weaponry” for Taiwan, a “Japanese Scent Zone,” and various Taiwan-exclusive merchandise, such as scented postcards.
