The vibrant hydrangea season at Zhuzihhu officially began on May 18th. Currently, the lighter-colored hydrangeas are in full bloom, while the vivid purple-red and blue-purple varieties are also gradually blossoming. The Taipei City Government’s Department of Economic Development has set up seven privately operated, fee-charging farms featuring landscaped flower art, each one perfect for photos.

The seven landscaped flower art installations include Huaigu Calla Lily Garden, Caifu Calla Lily Field, Mingyangpu Leisure Farm, Dashangyuan, Flowers & Trees Horticulture, Datitian Ecological Farm, and Caojia Huatianxiang. Each farm features a unique flower art setup for photos.

In addition to the beautiful hydrangeas in the farms, two “Zhuzihhu Hydrangea Eco-Farm Experience” half-day tour routes have been planned. These include the lively and colorful Calla Lily Avenue route on Tuesdays and the tranquil, natural Dinghu route on Thursdays, offering insights into the story of Zhuzihhu’s Penglai rice and local ecology.
