Their colors vary depending on the acidity or alkalinity of their environment, creating a dazzling and vivid display. The flowering period lasts roughly from May to August. Qingshan Farm
 
Not just Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihhu — Qingshan Farm in Taimali, Taitung, sits at an altitude of around 1,000 meters. From May to August each year is hydrangea season, followed by golden needle flower season from June to July, making it a great summer flower-spotting destination in Taitung. The farm has a stretch of hydrangeas that bloom so abundantly they spill out everywhere, leaving a deep impression.

Located in Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihhu, Huagu Sea Anemone Field is a popular photo spot during the annual hydrangea season. Aside from capturing clean, beautiful shots of hydrangeas, the garden also features a pure white bathtub, allowing travelers to take ultra-dreamy sea anemone photos. Make the most of the flowering season on weekends and bring your girlfriend up the mountain for some beauty.

Another hidden hydrangea gem on Yangmingshan — Zhuzihhu Flower & Tree Hydrangea Garden. The garden is filled with blooming hydrangeas, where pure white and light blue hues intermingle to create a view that’s photogenic from any angle. The flower sea is dense, with the official flowering period scheduled until July. Blooming begins in late May, reaching its peak in June.
