Located in a beautiful mountain forest, the Forest Therapy Visitor Center helps travelers find peace and healing through nature.

Built in the northern mountain forests of Busan, the Forest Therapy Visitor Center helps travelers strike a balance between architecture and nature, escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to relax and unwind in the mountains, allowing nature to provide healing.

The architects understand that any building is insignificant compared to nature. The design team aimed to integrate the structure into the local mountain forest as gently as possible, allowing the building to blend into the forest.

For the interior space, the aim was to express that nature itself is the best architectural space. Therefore, wood from the forest was used to construct the internal structure and decorations, serving as an extension of the forest, so that visitors can experience the feeling of light filtering through the forest while inside the building.

And to mimic the imagery of the natural forest outdoors, vertical wooden louvers emphasize alignment with the trees outside. Visually, the louvers overlap with the pine trees in the forest, maintaining the continuity between the building and the forest.
