ISPO BEIJING 2017 — the 13th Asia Outdoor Trade Show, was held from February 15 to 18, 2017 (Wednesday to Saturday) at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. As a regular attendee, Fenix, the global leader in outdoor sports lighting, presented its latest products and technologies as scheduled, offering outdoor travel and sports enthusiasts a distinctive gear experience. In addition, a series of exciting activities took place at the exhibition, including "continuous online and offline giveaways," "Fenix R&D center head Zhang becoming a charming live-streaming host," and "a signing ceremony with seasoned hikers."

The new Fenix products unveiled at this exhibition were reflected in flashlights, headlamps, camping lights, and more, such as the dual-purpose long-range flashlight TK47; the headlamp HL15, marking Fenix’s official entry into the running headlamp market; the upcoming USB-rechargeable off-road running headlamp HL26R; and the modular multi-functional camping light CP30R, among others. Among them, the professional off-road running headlamps HL15 and HL26R were particularly popular with attendees, who were eager to give them a try.

If most of Fenix’s headlamp products were initially designed for hiking and mountaineering, then the Fenix HL15 and HL26R are notably different. Hiking and mountaineering headlamps may not be suitable for off-road running in terms of light intensity, distance, or beam range, whereas the lightweight-designed HL15 and the dual-source (flood and spot) USB-rechargeable HL26R are tailor-made for off-road running.
Aside from Fenix’s new products, other brands under Langheng — the top-tier German military gear brand Tasmanian Tiger, the German professional outdoor backpack brand Tatonka, and the outdoor knife brand Ruike — also made a strong showing at the exhibition. \Tasmanian Tiger showcased its newly launched 12L sling bag and 22L tactical backpack; Tatonka, another German professional outdoor backpack brand like Tasmanian Tiger, exhibited its multifunctional folding chair backpack, which won the 2016 China Outdoor Industry "International Brand Equipment Award," as well as its upcoming Maggie Peg commuter backpack; Ruike was no less impressive, displaying its first three product series.

Visitors were always so enthusiastic, eager to try out all the new products. Fenix didn’t “sit idle” either — to show appreciation to attendees, there were continuous giveaways on-site, and even those who couldn’t make it but stayed updated on Fenix were rewarded. Couldn’t make it? How were the gifts given? The answer: Fenix R&D center head Zhang transformed into a charming live-streaming host to draw prizes and introduce new products.

Another host was the renowned climber Sabrina Chen (Sabrina). During the exhibition, Sabrina live-streamed a prize draw on Tatonka’s (Tatonka) Weibo, giving away the upcoming Maggie Peg commuter backpack to fans. It’s also worth mentioning that Fenix and Tatonka officially signed an agreement with Sabrina to sponsor her future climbing activities. Additionally, Fenix reached cooperation agreements with Liu Jia (Xiaocong), recognized as a Golden Rhino Outdoor Rising Star, and extreme outdoor photographer Li Zhaoyang (Tiega). Sabrina, Xiaocong, and Tiega have all become contracted athletes of Fenix.

In 2016, while the domestic market generally experienced sluggish growth, Fenix maintained steady progress and continued its international growth. For the newly begun 2017, Fenix is full of confidence and will continue to focus on product innovation and R&D, upholding the value proposition of "Born for Harsh Environments, Delivering Ultimate Lighting," using action to illuminate the dreams of outdoor enthusiasts.
