1.Shifen Waterfall
 
Shifen Waterfall Park. With a height of twenty meters and a width of forty meters, Shifen Waterfall is not only the widest waterfall in Taiwan but is also regarded by various international travel channels as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Additionally, the uniqueness of Shifen Waterfall lies in its terrain — the flow of the water moves against the direction of the rock strata, which results in a golden-yellow hue when reflected in the stream.

3.Lingjiaoliao Hiking Trail
 
The Lingjiaoliao hiking trail features diverse natural vegetation including acacia trees, camellia trees, and snake root grass. Along the route, visitors can explore the Lingjiao Sanbao (Lingjiao Three Treasures): Tsai Family Mansion, Wanggu Waterfall, and Lingjiao Ancient Bridge. You can get up close to the beauty of Wanggu Waterfall, making it one of the rare urban secret paradise spots.

4.Pingxi Old Street
 
Right outside Pingxi Railway Station is Zhonghua Street. Walk down the gentle slope and where it intersects with Pingxi Street, you’ll find the old street area. The station is geographically located between Pingxi and Lingjiao, offering a high vantage point overlooking the Keelung River below. This area is filled with a strong nostalgic charm, comparable to Jiufen Old Street, and is enhanced by the century-old sky lantern tradition, making it a favorite among both domestic and international tourists.
