As the “anti-extradition” marches and gatherings continue, areas around Admiralty and Central in Hong Kong have seen the presence of protesters and police deployments, along with road closures and even possible clashes. Considering these factors, the UK issued a travel alert for Hong Kong on June 12, reminding travelers to pay extra attention to their personal safety and the local situation when visiting Hong Kong.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet issued a travel alert for Hong Kong. Since the scheduled review date for the anti-extradition bill is June 20, gatherings and marches are expected to continue during this period.
