Sanrio Gift Gate Asakusa is a two-story store that sells a variety of apple-themed HELLO KITTY products exclusive to the Asakusa location. The store’s exterior is built around a giant 7-meter-tall, 5-meter-wide HELLO KITTY, with a cute apple-shaped entrance that’s simply adorable.

The second floor of the store is themed around Japanese-style Sanrio characters, selling many unique items inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics and festivals, as well as delicious souvenirs in collaboration with famous local shops such as the iconic Asakusa store “Funawa.” In addition to HELLO KITTY, popular Sanrio characters like Cinnamoroll, Gudetama, My Melody, and Pompompurin are also featured in the store.
